• What is you preferred style of photography? I am a romantic, and tend to give preference to the time I have with just the bride and groom. You will receive a mixture of traditional and candid images spanning the entire time of your wedding day.
  • How many weddings have you shot in your career? Although I cannot give an exact number of weddings that I’ve photographed, I can tell you that I have been a wedding photographer since 2005 and can estimate that it’s over 500.
  • How many weddings will you shoot on my wedding day? When you reserve Florida Keys Photo you are the only wedding on that day. This allows for a stress-free timeline, and if you find yourself wanting us to stay longer than your reservation, you always have that option!
  • Do you work from a shot list? A shot list is always an option for your couples. You don’t need to have every traditional photo on your list, those will be captured without saying. I prefer to keep the shot list simple with those special images that your photographer would not otherwise be aware of, ie photo with special friend or relative, specific pose from inspiration photos, important details like heirloom jewelry…
  • How many hours are included in your package? Our reservations start at 3 hours and go up from there.
  • Do you bring a second shooter? I typically do not bring a second shooter, however there is always one available as an option and can be added to your reservation for an additional fee.
  • How many images can I expect to see from my wedding? You can count on getting anywhere from 150 to 400 images from your wedding (possibly more depending on the length of your reservation). All of the images you receive will be edited.
  • Do you provide black and white images? Included in your edited photos you can expect between 5 to 10 percent of your images to have a black and white copy along with it’s original color version.
  • How long does it take to get my photos? You will get a sneak peek within one week of your wedding. Your fully edited online gallery will be ready within 4 to 6 weeks. Your canvas prints and your wedding albums will be shipped to you within 2 weeks of you submitting your image choices and approving your layout.
  • Do I receive a disc of images, or do I have to order prints through you? DVDs are outdated. You will get a link to your fully downloadable digital gallery which will allow you to save your images on your own computer, and share them with your family and friends. You have a shared copyright of all of your images and have the choice to either order directly from us through your gallery, or take them to your own professional lab to make prints. Just understand that the photo lab you choose makes a difference as to how well your images will look when enlarged. For example, if you choose to have prints made at Walmart, they will almost always give you the skin complexion of an Oompa-Loompa.
  • Do we have to provide a meal for you? For reservations that are 4 hours or longer that we are there during your dinner it is customary that we are provided a vendor meal which we will have while you are enjoying your dinner. It takes a lot of energy to coordinate all of your guest to get the images you want, so the meal helps us to keep that energy up.
  • What is your plan if you have an emergency and you cannot photograph my wedding? In the 12 years that I have been a professional wedding photographer this has not happened. However, in the event that I cannot be there to photograph your wedding, I have a network of photographers to draw from if one of our staff is unavailable, and all are very experienced and have similar styles of shooting.
